After days of heavy rain and windy conditions the weather improved and the sun shone at last at Aberdyfi for our Rowing Regatta on Sunday 17th June.

Our club captain Alun Stedman said " Thank goodness we had some good weather at last.....!  and I'm pleased we had a good turn out.  Although this is a Northern league event we welcome teams from the Southern League who also came up to be a part of our regatta.  We had teams from Porthmadog, Barmouth, Borth, Aberystwyth, Ynys Mon and Newquay as well as our Aberdyfi teams.  We were racing inside the estuary whuch makes the event a better spectator sport for everyone in the village."
